Upgrading your cylinder head to a JDM Type R Head or just upgrading your existing head with JDM Type R components will give you huge horsepower gains to your stock engine. These brand new JDM Cylinder Heads were ordered directly from Honda of Japan. This Head is unique because it comes from the Honda factory ported and polished and it has a fantastic valve job designed to optimize air flow.
You will pick up at least another 10-15hp at the tires by going to this cylinder head plus you will be able to sell your stock cylinder head to pay for a good portion of the change over.
Larger gains will be realized if you use higher lift camshafts such as Integra Type R, Civic Type R, Skunk2 or something similar! Choose the head package that best fits your needs or piece together an order from our components section below.
